TAS Property Information

We are able to provide a full range of TAS property information for the legal and conveyancing industry. Our conveyancing information includes the certificate of title, property ownership information, and other information bound to a property, such as dealings and easements. Further information on our range of Tasmanian property information can be found below.

  • Title Search: A certificate of title or title deed is a legal document confirming possession of land. Perform a title search if you need to identify the land description, the registered proprietor(s), or any instruments, dealings or easements associated with the land title.
  • Registered plans: A copy of the survey plan or registered plan as lodged at the Land Titles Office. Perform a plan search showing the surveyor, area, easements and boundary information.
  • Property ownership search: An ACT name search checks the land registry based on a person or company name. Perform a property ownership search if you need information on a proprietors current property ownerships.
  • Schedule of Easements: An easement is a shared interest in a property that does not confer right of ownership. For example, a footpath or shared driveway may be considered an easement, and can be registered on the Certificate of Title. This search identifies whether such common interests exist on a property.
  • Unregistered dealings: This search identifies dealings on a Title after lodgment but prior to registration.
  • Survey notes: These are records that describe the survey performed and are completed by the surveyor.
  • Title history: Not to be confused with a standard title search, a title history search provides information on changes to a specific title since the current ownership commenced. Perform this search to check the status of a land title prior to settlement as part of your conveyancing information requests.
  • Telco cable: Provides information in relation to the layout of telecommunications cabling for a specific property.
